Drink water all day

Keep a water bottle within your arm’s reach during all your daily activities so you can periodically hydrate. Drinking water doesn’t just quench your thirst, but it also lubricates your joints and boosts your performance during exercise.

Try a fruit and vegetable diet

You’ve probably heard the health benefits of fruits and vegetables touted since you were a child. There’s no way to overstate how potent a plant-based diet can be for weight loss and overall health. Those worried they won’t be getting enough protein to build muscle and get stronger should have no cause for alarm. Plant-based protein can be even more effective than meat-based protein in many cases.

Limit your alcohol consumption

Alcohol may be enjoyable to drink, but it is full of empty calories that make it more difficult for your body to burn fat. If you want to get fit quickly it may be time to cut down on those pints at the bar. You’ll have to make some sacrifices for the sake of your overall health and diet.
