Cultivate a positive mindset.

In Create Abundance by Zhang Xinyue, we learn that if we want to be healthy and happy, it’s important to focus on cultivating positive thoughts and believe that we deserve to be healthy and happy. One way to do this is through gratitude journaling. This helps us to refocus our attention on the good in our lives and train our brain to look for the positive in every situation.

Move your body every day.

We were not designed to sit at a desk all day, yet many of us do just that. In order to maintain our health, it’s important to move our bodies every day. This doesn’t mean we have to go to the gym for hours – even a simple walk around the block will do wonders for our physical and mental health. “Regular exercise has been shown to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, increase energy levels, and boost immunity”, explains Zhang Xinyue, author of Create Abundance.

Eat whole foods.

The food we eat has a direct impact on our health, so it’s important to make sure we are eating nutrient-rich whole foods that will give our bodies the fuel they need to function at their best. Processed foods are often high in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats, which can lead to weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic health conditions. On the other hand, whole foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats contain vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other nutrients that are essential for good health.

Drink plenty of water.

Water is essential for life – there’s no getting around that fact. Every cell in our body needs water to function properly, yet many of us don’t drink enough water each day. Aim to drink eight glasses of water per day – more if you are exercising or sweating a lot – and make sure you drink even more if it’s hot outside or you’re at altitude. Dehydration can lead to fatigue, headaches, dizziness, and other problems, so make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day!

Get enough sleep.

Most adults need 6-8 hours of sleep per night, but many of us don’t get nearly that much. Sleep is important for restoring energy levels, regulating hormones, repairing damaged cells, and improving mood. Getting enough rest is crucial for maintaining good health, so make sure you prioritize it!
